Alternatively, if you're not culinarily inclined: Our air conditioner is broken. With daytime temperatures hitting 100 F (38 C), it's crucial that housemates find ways to keep cool. Post your best cooling-off ideas this weekend.

How in the heckin what makes you think that 100 F is anything even close to hot it has been around 114-115 F for the last five hecking weeks here and I would do anything to have it be just 100 F outside That said, for keeping cool, I recommend one of these They are designed to keep laptops cool but just get a really big one and lie down on it and all your problems (and you probably) will just melt away

Not everyone lives in Florida, Ren. Have some sympathy for the Brit, and the southern hemisphere folks that are used to it being winter now.

If I lived in Florida I would die because the humidity is insane and even mild heat is just really bad with any humidity at all
I'll try to grow some sympathy but I dunno

38C is far too hot by any reasonable standards. I recommend making ice lollies with these ice lolly moulds: Hey look at that I managed to combine the non-culinary and culinary challenges.

Apparently uk is having a heat wave rn which sucks, but I guess serves a majority of the uk right for voting for theresa may despite her wheatfield antics, and serves a minority of the uk wrong bc they didnt vote for her

Maybe an idea for staying cool would be not to enrage politically invested deities, by considering your options snd the realities of their policies before you vote

But yeah it serves everyone who voted for Brexit & Theresa May right. The rest of us simply have to endure it even though we did nothing to deserve it -- rather like Brexit, really. (Except we can keep fighting Brexit. We can't really fight the weather.)
