hello housemates, welcome to your fourth weekend in the big brother house! you've nearly been here a month, you troopers. for this weekend, you have the option to write a limerick and dedicate it to your favorite Big Brother for bonus points! all participants will receive a set number of points, but we'll choose a winner who will receive more. while multiple entries won't give you additional points, you can write as many entries as you like if you're not confident with your first entry, or i guess if your artistic spirit overtakes you. you're welcome to offer input to your fellow housemates on their poems.  you have until whenever we remember to end this! have fun and good luck, everybody! |

I once had a brother named linda
She ignited my heart like a cinder
And though she was strict
And wouldn't be tricked
My love for her could not be hindered
I once knew a girl that was ace
Who had a most beautiful face
I told her she was pretty
By writing a ditty
In the hope of winning the first place
I've heard that among many mormons
Celebrating birthdays is common
So for Linda Rhaldeen's
I shall purchase at Queens
Lots of SLE friendly almonds

but loses the orphans
Unfortunate events abound
Their new guardian's waggish and jaunty
But there's no happy end for this conte
Stephano (Count Olaf)
exposed as a showoff
But it's curtains for poor Uncle Monty
On a clifftop, her house overreaches
Neuroses and grammar, she teaches
The Baudelaire's aunt
pseudocides to levaunt
Captain Sham throws Aunt Jo to the leeches
Shirley tries to have Klaus get arraigned
Orwell fixes his glasses and brain
Now Phil's pants are half-price
Charles is just barely sliced
and Sir puts the kids back on the train

There was once a girl on a ferry
Who was in somewhat of a hurry
So she registered and now
Coming back from Macau
Wrote a limerick that was sort of a slurry
While I indulged myself in the Venetian
Came a Big Brother who was a librarian
Well I don't really know this time
Because I only wanted to rhyme
And I'm trying to make this as lovely as a Dalmatian
Big Trip is a lovely lass
Who always had some sass
Yet when I returned
Hong Kong showing in turn
I really wished I had more poetic gas
Lmao I was really stuck when writing these.

Baudelaires: on the lam, ill at ease
Heimlech Hospital's half taken shape
Violet's hair tangled and mouth agape
Baudelaires: accused liars
and starters of fires
In Count Olaf's trunk, they escape
Madame Lulu is not what she seems
She may know what the Snicket File means
Olaf's lions arrive

Sunny's gone; down, her siblings careen

Then to a beach foggy
In the taxi, a pregnant ally
Kit recruits the orphans as flaneurs
As each faction sets ruses and lures
Dewey sinks in the pond
With fire, Sunny responds
And the last safe place is safe no more
Ish rules with iron fist and feet of clay
as Olaf, pitiful, holds secrets past
The Baudelaires find home by light of day
The islanders find Eden never lasts
A child enters the world upon the bank
One final line alone: Beatrice Sank
